Joaquín Ayuso is Board Member of Bankia and sits on the Advisory Board of the Instituto Universitario de Investigación en Estudios Norteamericanos Benjamin Franklin attached to the University of Alcalá de Henares of Madrid and is Member of the Advisory Board for Spain of A.T. Kearney, S.A
Previously he has more than 30 years experience in Ferrovial Group, where he held various responsibilities from General Manager to CEO, as well as Vice-President. From 2002 up to 2019 was also Board Member of the Ferrovial Group.
Additionally he was Board Member of Holcim España, S.A., BAA (UK), Budimex (Poland), ETR 407 (Canada) and National Express Group. Furthermore he was member of the Advisory Board of Transyt (Centro de Investigación del Transporte de la E.T.S.I. Caminos, Canales y Puertos) and sat on the Board of Directors of the Círculo de Empresarios business circle.
