Until December 2017, Mónica was the student housing Managing Director, responsible for the Group´s Student Accommodation asset class with almost 9,000 beds in Spain, leading the expansion, management, and divestment process. Previously, she started the renewal energy platform of Azora.
Prior to joining Azora in 2010, Mónica worked for 21 years in the financial sector. Since 2003 to 2010, she was Managing Director and CEO of UBS Spain. Previously, she worked during 14 years in Grupo Santander, where she was responsible for Wealth Management, Corporate Banking and Credit Risk Officer.
Mónica is industrial engineer by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and has an MBA from IESE (Universidad de Navarra).
